The design concept of Maheshwari Saree inspired by the architecture of royal forts of Madhya Pradesh, which played a major role in the weave and motifs on the saree. There are several popular patterns are used to construct Maheshwari Saree such as Chattai Pattern, Chameli ka Phool, Eent (bricks), Heera (diamond), etc.
