I’m grateful to this tree for being my seat

I’m grateful to these leaves for providing me fresh air

Oh, my beautiful feathers, spreading on the ground

And I can’t stop admiring them.

- A Peacock

This Collection draws inspiration from the nature and portrays a story of self love and gratitude. This concept style saree is a blend of Pure Kosa Silk and Madhubani Painting is one of the unique offerings from the house of Aprudha. This seamless canvas is painted in Madhubani Art in an unconventional style.
Madhubani Painting is one of the most famous art forms that is practiced in Mithila, India. This painting is done with a variety of tools including fingers, matchsticks, brushes, nip pens using natural dyes and pigments.
Kosa silk is a Sanskrit name of Tussar Silk. It is obtained from cocoons especially on Arjun, sal, or saja trees. The manufacturing process of Kosa silk is quite time-consuming and complicated due to the rarity of Kosa worm. The process of making a Kosa Silk Saree may take about two to five days. This type of silk is known for its rich texture and delicate nature, considered an ideal fabric to be worn for special occasions.
Madhubani Painting is known for its intricacy, eye-catching geometric patterns, natural and unique style. Kosa Silk is light in weight and has its own shine.

*Note -: We accept only pre-orders on this concept saree. This is a purely handmade product which takes minimum 14 days to dispatch after order confirmation.

Our passion and philosophy at Aprudha

As a brand, We believe in slow and sustainable fashion - a fashion which makes you look fabulous but not at the cost of natural resources or human values. To achieve this we source our fabrics from reputed weavers who believe in what we stand for. Our weavers are from the remotest parts of India and use the age old techniques that were always earth friendly and natural.

Since our approach towards fashion is minimalistic our products start at a very affordable range. However we even have sarees which are  works of art - which you can flaunt and be proud to own.

We promote products that get crafted by weavers, embroiderers, and artists from the interior parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa and West Bengal.

We believe our customers are an integral part of the entire sustainable chain. We want you to buy what you need and not hoard unnecessarily.

We want to help you buy the right products - right for you and right for the earth.

If you have questions on any of our products, fabrics, variants or sizes - Whatsapp us on 9689003827 and we would be more than happy to help you out.
