The name Jamdani is of persian origin and comes from the word "jam" meaning flower and "Dani" meaning vase.
The process is quite time-consuming as it involves a lengthy process of hand-looming. A Jamdani however, takes a minimum of nine months to weave. The unique feature of  Jamdani is the vibrant patterns drawn on the shimmery surface.The popular motifs of Jamdani Saree are floral, paisleys, diamond, lotus, lamp, fish, jhalar, polka spots, rectangular motifs.

  • After first wash always Hand wash separately in cold water using mild detergent.
  • Dry in shade
