Maheshwari Saree is made up of cotton and pure silk thread is woven with zari in various types of patterns. The concept of Maheshwari Saree was introduced in the 18thcentury, these sarees were first manufactured in the town of Maheshwar.
The design concept of Maheshwari Saree was inspired by the architecture of the royal forts of Madhya Pradesh, which played a major role in the weave and motifs on the saree. There are several popular patterns are used to construct Maheshwari Saree such as Chattai Pattern, Chameli ka Phool, Eent (bricks), Heera (diamond), etc.

Featuring this handloom silk by cotton saree in purple color adorned with zari butas. The fabric is light in weight, soft in texture, and gives a great fall. The border has silver zari work. Pallu is plain in the same color and silver zari border making it an ideal drape for big occasions.
While washing for the first time, soak in cold water and salt for 5 minutes and flat dry.
After first wash always Hand wash separately in cold water using mild detergent.
Dry in shade
Do Not Bleach or wring.
